We are a recognized leader in transportation, civil, environmental, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician to join our Indianapolis, IN office. Responsibilities will include detailing and developing plan sets for bridge and highway design projects.
Requirements
· A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a CAD Technician with a civil or transportation engineering firm is required.
· An A.S. degree in Engineering Technology or related field is required.
· Ability to produce complete plan sets of bridge and highway design projects for INDOT.
· Expert level experience with Microstation V8 is required, experience with Geopak is desired.
· Strong computer skills using MS Excel to create/update quantity calculations and bill of materials is required.
· Strong math skills with the ability to understand formulas and perform computations.
· Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
· Ability to work independently and complete tasks on-time and within budget.
· Good organizational skills with the ability to keep drawing files, cell files and project calculations in order.
