Senior Accountant – small business groups
Well established regional (CPA) accounting firm is seeking to add an experienced Senior Accountant to its’ Somerset County, NJ business unit.
This person will manage the “small business clients" group. Will work
closely with clients/staff to review work relating to Tax Planning, Financial Statement preparation and Federal & State Tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
· Manage small business client base
· Business consulting
· Tax planning
· Tax correspondence and research
· Supervise staff and department management
· Control and manage engagements
· Billing and collections
· Practice development
· Financial statement preparation
· Business & personal tax returns
Requirements
Qualifications:
· BS in Accounting
· CPA preferred
· 5-10 years of experience in small to mid sized CPA firm (MUST)
· Experience with Tax and Financial Accounting required
· Experience with Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Corporate, Partnership and Individual returns
· Experience with review and compilation of financial statements
