Description
This is successful and growing division of an established secondary wholesaler. This division, located in a very desirable office location in El Segundo, CA, specializes in high volume sales of primarily brand name apparel, household, and sporting goods to major retailers nationwide. This wholesaler is a billion dollar secondary wholesaler, celebrating thirty years in the industry and dedicated to providing excellent service to its customers and hiring and growing talent.
Assist in the development of the relationship with current and prospective clientele
Participation in the evaluation of marketing opportunities for products and services
Assist in the determination of which new or existing products and services should be presented to clients.
Responsibility for all account management services including:
Sales Forecast
Purchasing and price negotiation
Management of financial program
Management of operational programs
Requirements
Experience in all aspects of sales and account maintenance
Experience in networking, proposal generation, and sales presentations
Strong negotiation skills
Proven success in executing sales strategies and closing new business
Self-starter who takes ownership, thinks out of the box, and solves problems
Organized and detailed-oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of sports clothing and experience in retail sales a plus
