Cost Accounting Manager

The Cost Accounting Manager will develop and measure standard cost metrics. The Manager will be responsible for:

1) Labor Productivity analysis

2) Financial Analysis

3) Budget Development

4) Fixed Assets Analysis

5) KPI indicators

Rsponsibilities

• Develop accurate timely reporting, analyses, and forecasting of the company's financials as it relates to (labor, inventory)
• Maintain product standard costs
• Analyze manufacturing variances
• liason between manufacturing and finance/accounitng departments
• Margin anlaysis
• Manufacturing burden rates and reports for inventory, labor, overhead and manufacturing variances
• Understand fixed vs. variable impact to cost of operations
• Project capital needs, desired margins, and returns
• Drive projects for process improvements, cost savings, economic opportunites and data consolidation.
• Use KPI to analyze current financial returns with respect to budgets as well
• Fascilitate the annual business plan and monthly close procedures using existing accounting and reporting systems.

BS degree in accounting from a four-year college or university

8 years of related experience with a minimum of three years of cost accounting expereince within a manufacturing environment.
