Description

Tighe & Bond, one of the most experienced civil engineering and environmental consulting firms in New England, has an outstanding opportunity for a talented Senior Wastewater Process Engineer at our Westfield, MA location.  The individual we seek will be the strategic lead for Tighe & Bond in their continuing efforts to support growth in wastewater treatment facility planning, design, construction and operational troubleshooting in both Massachusetts and Connecticut.  The Senior Wastewater Process Engineer will work to maintain and support the existing client base, while also building and developing new business relationships for the firm.  For an exceptionally well qualified candidate, we would consider having this position based out of our Worcester, MA facility.

Requirements

Applicants must possess a BSCE or BSEnvE degree, and have their professional engineer license from MA, CT or in another state with the ability to obtain Massachusetts or Connecticut licensure within a year.  An MS degree is desirable, as is treatment plant operational experience.  Candidates considered will likely possess 15+ years of relevant experience involving design and operational consulting with respect to conventional secondary treatment technology as well as biological nutrient removal.  For consideration, an applicant must be a US citizen or already have permanent US resident status.  

 

Further qualifications include: superior client interaction and management skills; the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally; plus proven experience with marketing and proposal generation activities.  Besides having truly exceptional technical skills relating to wastewater engineering, candidates must also demonstrate very strong interpersonal skills and leadership qualities.
