Description AHMC Healthcare, Inc. consists of a corporate office, Central Billing Office, and six acute care hospitals.  AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center 228 beds, Garfield Medical Center with 211 beds, Greater El Monte Community Hospital with 115 beds, Monterey Park Hospital with 102 beds, San Gabriel Valley Medical Center with 273 beds, and Whittier Hospital Medical Center with 172 beds.

Primary Function
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the overall activities related to the employee and labor relations of the CBO and Corporate. The incumbent will interact with the managers and supervisors of the CBO and corporate. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs the administrative and operations related to employee and labor relations to ensure the best possible outcomes. The incumbent is responsible for managing the workers compensation for the CBO and Corporate. The incumbent assists the Vice President Corporate Human Resources with corporate workers' compensation initiatives.
Requirements Qualifications
1. Bachelor's (BS or BA) degree in a field of study related to this position preferred  or equivalent experience.
2. 2-5 years experience in employee and labor relations with an emphasis on  generalist function.
3. 2 years experience in workers' compensation (carrier experience and/or IEA certification a plus).
4. Knowledgeable in employment laws and defense activities as they relate to  EEOC, DEFH complaints.
5. Knowledge of federal, state and local healthcare regulations.
6. Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
7. Possess excellent negotiating skills and communication skills.
8. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external resources.
9. Excellent oral and written skills.
10. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
11. Must possess excellent human relation skills.
12. Must possess excellent critical thinking skills.
13. Possess strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task, and prioritize workload.
