Description Hatfield is looking for Part-Time Warehouse Operators to work in the various areas of our Order Assembly department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Ensures products to be shipped have been approved to be used.
  2. Performs daily checks on various equipment, and reports any deficiencies to management.
  3. Ensures proper rotation is used (FIFO) when picking orders.
  4. Becomes familiar with our product line and code-dating to ensure our customers' specifications are met.
  5. Performs peripheral work as needed (i.e., dating hams for specific customers, re-labeling, sanitation, re-stacking of bought in product).
  6. Ensures quality of pallets and product are acceptable to receive as well as ship.
  7. Adheres to all safety rules, QA guidelines, and PPE policies.
  8. Performs all duties within the shift's rotation in the warehouse operation.
  9. Is responsible for cleanliness of assigned area as well as organization of area at the end of the shift.
  10. Sorts returns and cuts inedible meats.

 

AVAILABLE SCHEDULE:
2nd Shift
Tuesday through Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm

(Listed pay rate is a starting rate only and is subject to experience and qualifications.)
Requirements
  • This position requires standing, bending, lifting, and walking for 8- to 10-hour shifts.
  • Prior warehouse experience a plus.
  • Qualified candidates must be flexible and able to work varying hours within their shift and may be required to work on weekends as needed.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality required.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and effective communication skills are also required with a desire and ability to work and communicate as a team.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in a freezer environment with temperatures ranging between 28-35 degrees.
