Position: Land/Reserves Resource Manager
Location: Overland Park, KS (Corporate Headquarters)
Reports To: Vice President of Engineering
Compensation: $ 110,000 +/- (Commensurate with Experience)

Summary: This position functions with a high degree of autonomy and reports directly to the VP Engineering. Resource Manager will manage the Company’s property, mineral reserves, mineral leases, and will lead the team to assure long term viability of each sites mining plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Company Plant Property, Mineral Reserves, and Mineral Leases.
- Maintain records of property documents, lease agreements, governmental obligations
- Reviews and Approves Site Mining Plans
- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements
- Works with business teams, plant leaders, and engineering function leaders to set priorities and provide/acquire resources to meet agreed plans.
- Assures compliance with contract schedule
- Provides resources to supply technical support as necessary.
- Develop strategic plan for acquisition or future mining opportunities
- Proactively investigates mineral asset opportunities to build asset portfolio for future opportunity
- Supports Technical requirements for Mining or Solution Mining operations
- Supports Company Engineering Group
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- 10 years + of mining based project experience; and equivalent experience in leadership role required.
- Significant experience/involvement with mining plans, mining reserves, property development, permitting and leasing
- Advanced degrees in related fields of engineering are preferred, with active participation in professional or industry associations
- Computer proficiency with AutoCAD (management level) Microsoft Office, MS Project or Similar.
