Combo / Pipe Welder

 

Land a steady job as a combo/pipe welder or fitter with Americas premier employer. Tradesmen International needs combo welders in the industrial sectors of construction. Job is in the Midland, Michigan area. These are the welding specs.

 

Everything is set up with 2" schedule 80 carbon pipe.  Everything is open

end butt welds with 1/8" gap.

 

Tig Test :   Tig all the way out on a 6G...using walk the cup method

 

Stick test:  6010 root on a 6G and 7018 cover and cap

 

Stainless:   309 stainless wire on a 2" sched 80 carbon pipe

 
Also, you should have a working knowledge of construction site safety and be able to complete an OSHA 10 hour course within 90 days of your hire date.

-Valid state driver's license and reliable transportation
-Valid social security number/card
-Be able to pass a criminal background check, and drug test
-Possess verifiable references, with names numbers and dates of previous employment. 

Must have reliable, self motivated, have the ability and desire to learn and have your own basic trade tools. You must have already have attended or be willing to attend an OSHA 10 hour Construction Safety Course, possess good communication skills and be able to maintain a safe work area.
