Intrexon Corporation is developing DNA control systems to enhance the safety and efficacy of existing and novel biological therapeutics. The company’s technology employs special genetic components and activator compounds to tightly control the delivery, targeting, activation, regulation and location of biologics. The goal of such DNA-mediated control is to improve the safety of those biologics while extending their clinical effectiveness.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Scientist will be responsible for performing detailed analysis of scientific literature in order to identify critical molecular control elements. This position will require an intimate understanding of molecular biology and biochemistry techniques as well as a creative ability for problem solving in the areas of molecular cloning, protein express, and DNA, mRNA and protein engineering.
