Description

Intrexon Corporation is developing DNA control systems to enhance the safety and efficacy of existing and novel biological therapeutics. The company’s technology employs special genetic components and activator compounds to tightly control the delivery, targeting, activation, regulation and location of biologics. The goal of such DNA-mediated control is to improve the safety of those biologics while extending their clinical effectiveness.

The company is currently engaged in clinical and pre-clinical studies related to solid tumor cancers and other intractable diseases that must be addressed with powerful biotherapeutic strategies. Together with its partners, Intrexon is committed to improving safety and clinical outcomes through the use of controllable biotherapeutics.
