Management Recruiters of Davis is recruiting pharmacists for positions as Pharmacy Informatics Specialists. These positions are through the IT (Information Technology) and Pharmacy departments of major national healthcare providers.
The pharmacy informatics specialist is responsible for the design of clinical information solutions to enable safe, effective, and high quality medication management and delivery, leading the information technology deployment and optimization efforts based on the organization’s clinical and pharmacy performance improvement objectives, and providing clinical subject matter expertise to translate data into information and actionable knowledge in medication management and delivery processes.
Requirements
The Pharmacy Informatics Specialist will work in partnership with the Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Informatics, MIS leadership and staff and apply knowledge and skills of pharmaceutical care delivery to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer applications, translate clinician requirements into specifications for clinical information systems, to identify and prioritize system enhancements, and to design medication work flow in clinical areas.

Requirements
Experience and/or academic training in pharmacy informatics procedures and pharmacy information systems/applications are strongly preferred. Doctorate in Pharmacy is strongly preferred.
