Position overview

As part of the Business Development Team, the Channel Marketing Associate supports sales & marketing efforts in the Microsoft Dynamics GP reseller channel.  The position requires creation and generation of new material for outbound communication and lead generation to support reseller end-user sales opportunities.  The Channel Marketing Associate will be assisting with sales & marketing campaigns and coordinating marketing events and seminars.  Trade show organization and event logistics will also be necessary.  Social media updates and announcements will be provided for content updates on all available media networks utilized.  Additional administrative tasks may be required.  Training for some areas will be provided.  Some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

The qualified candidate will be responsible for supporting sales & marketing activities including:  Sales and marketing collateral generation, brochure design/layout, sales and marketing weekly mailings and inbound lead management through campaigns.  Advertising design concepts or ideas will be encouraged along with daily social media updates. Additional duties will include general office administration activities. Job responsibilities include:

  • Support Business Development Sales & Marketing efforts
  • Provide sales/marketing campaign support and lead generation
  • Work with Business Development Manager in lead management, marketing programs, PR & Press Relations, Promotions and Marketing collateral creation
  • Track all relevant activity in Microsoft CRM (including call activity, lead qualification details, lead pipeline, opportunity pipeline, etc.)
  • Achieve and maintain working knowledge of all Azox offerings
  • Achieve and maintain working knowledge of MBS Great Plains reseller community
  • Interact comfortably with Business Development Manager and mid-level and senior management, both internal and external to the organization
  • Communicate effectively with Business Development Manager in-person, via phone, e-mail and regular updates in Microsoft CRM
  • Minimal travel
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled or recent graduate in Business, Marketing or Communications at an accredited College or University
  • Minimum 1 year business experience in slaes & marketing
  • Working knowledge of business systems (MS Office, Internet, etc.)
  • Demonstrated aptitude in business acumen & communication skills
  • Knowledge of CRM/Contact Manager software a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics channel a plus, but not required
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, superior time management skills and ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
