Chapman Staffing Solutions (CSS), a premier provider of health care staffing services is searching for a experienced and very dynamic, RN ADON (Assistant Director of Nurses) on behalf of our Client. This position is located in the Anaheim area.
Founded in the early eighties our Client owns and operates skilled nursing centers and retirement centers in southern California. With nearly 30 centers employing more than 5000 people providing care to approximately 3,000 residents. Centers are located in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Yolo Counties.
Description: The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in managing skolled nursing facility. Incumbent conducts the nursing process, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation under the scope of the State Nurse's Practice Act of Registered Nurse licensure. The ADON coordinates resource utilization, timely and appropriate care interventions, and interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction, adherence to center's clinical systems and regulatory compliance. The ADON is responsible for collecting, trending, analyzing and reporting data and manages the nursing department in the absence of the DON.
This is a large and fast-paced Skilled Nursing Facility. Incument must be up to par in their clinical nursing practice and skills including wounds, IV's etc. Must have 5 years management experience in skilled nursing facility or a previous title as an ADON for a skilled nursing facility. Must have a CA RN license. BSN preferred but not required.
