Description UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHAMPAIGN-URBANA ILLINOIS MBA
College of Business ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF MARKETING and ALUMNI RELATIONS 

 
Primary Function: Provide support for the Illinois MBA in the areas of Marketing, Alumni Affairs and External relations. Responsibilities: 
• Develop the marketing strategy and position of the Illinois MBA program, in conjunction with the senior administration of the College of Business and the MBA program 
• Work with Admissions and College of Business External Affairs staff to implement the marketing strategy through multiple mechanisms including print and electronic 
• Assist with student recruitment activities
• Create and implement alumni engagement strategies in partnership with the College 
• Develop mechanisms to consistently engage alumni across the world 
• Manage the MBA alumni database 
• Serve as the primary liaison with alumni and work with Career Services, Admissions and the Associate Dean to engage appropriately with the MBA program 
• Assist with benchmarking and other analyses of peer MBA programs 

 

 
Requirements Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of Marketing and/or Alumni relations experience and a working knowledge of the University of Illinois. Bachelor degree required, Master Business Administration preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
