Due to our rapid growth, we have immediate opportunities for people who have a real passion for education and can convey that enthusiasm as experienced part-time, full-time and substitute instructors for our Pharmacy Technician program to conduct, evaluate, and implement our Pharmacy Technician course information that meet industry standardized requirements at our UEI College campus in San Diego, CA.  

Job Description:

• Teaches one or more subjects within the Pharmacy Technician curriculum, recommends changes regarding textbooks and other aspects of the curriculum. Instructors are hired for 1 or 2 sessions.

•  Prepare and deliver lecture and lab demonstrations as outlined in curriculum. 
•  Facilitate class discussions.

1. Instructors must be knowledgeable in the Pharmacy Technician field and have specific experience in that area.  This requirement can be met by having a minimum of 3 years work experience in the field (or related field).
2. Preferred: instructors should have demonstrated teaching ability through previous experience at a college-level educational facility.
3. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical journals and medical/pharmaceutical concepts.
4. Ability to effectively present information to management and/or public groups
