Huntington's Center Directors are professional motivators who adhere to achieving goals and objectives of their centers.  This position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the success of the business.  The Center Director is boss, manager, trainer, marketer, and salesperson.  Through effective communication and training of staff, proper planning, and top-notch sales and customer service, the Center Director will meet revenue, marketing, enrollment, retention and operational goals set at their center.  As Center Director, you will be the first and lasting impression, on the parents, of Huntington Learning Center.


 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet monthly revenue, expense, operations, and marketing goals

  • Manage all Center activities and their quality

  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly meetings with full-time staff to discuss goals and action plans

  • Manage Center P&L and overall finances

  • Manage and maintain peak enrollment and retention rates through inital and on-going parent meetings

  • Develop local marketing plans to increase presence in the community and increase inquiry volume

  • Prepare for, conduct, and follow up after, professional contacts, student-focused school visit and event-focused school visits, PTA and parent workshops, and visits to merchants, community groups, and maintain appropriate records

Requirements

Characteristics and basic requirements of the successful candidate include:

  • BA/BS Minimum

  • Sales, management and teaching experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of the Huntington System

  • Direct communicator

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • High energy level

  • Strong sense of urgency

  • Effective organizational and follow-up skills

  • Evening and weekend availability
