Description
  • Maintain control of all content files, documentation, and configurations and ensure that appropriate security is maintained over all data and documentation.
  • Ensure that all courseware is compatible and functional on the Army’s training facility computers, Army Learning Object (ALO), Reimer Digital Library (RDL), and the Army’s Learning Management System (ALMS).
  • Guarantee that all courseware will comply with applicable safety, environmental, and technical requirements as stated in the Quality Assurance Plan and/or as directed.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight for all aspects of project lifecycle, from kick-off through maintenance.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), client, and project staff to manage project specifications, plans, timelines, and project priorities.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Developers/Instructional Designers/Quality Assurance Specialists/Media Specialists so that deadlines, milestones, and deliverables are completed on time and within the project costs.
  • Drive team collaboration to a shared understanding of course content and requirements to arrive at effective instructional approach, technical development, navigation, and functionality with members of development team.
  • When appropriate, identify new technologies as well as incorporate changes in standards.
  • Review the content of all deliverables for quality, completeness, and adherence to applicable regulations, contract data requirements lists (CDRLS) and data item descriptions (DIDs) and conduct IPRs in accordance with the Quality Assurance (QA) plan.
  • General project management duties include
  • Supervise and support project team
  • Provide technical input on Pal-Tech business development efforts, as appropriate
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements This position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in management and 5 years of experience in management or 3 years experience and a Master’s degree. PMP certification desired. Qualified applicants will have experience in developing computer-based Distance/Distributed Learning (DL) software and websites, specializing in quality assurance and project management. Experience in multimedia development and in-depth knowledge of the full-cycle of multimedia development and tools is recommended. Manage and deliver interactive multimedia courseware. Supervise the content development and testing of courses. Candidates must have the ability to use Microsoft Office applications effectively, including Excel. Experience with courseware authoring tools (for example: Lectora, Macromedia, Authorware, and/or Toolbook).
