Local leader in rehabilitative and long-term healthcare, is seeking a PART-TIME Clinical Case Manager / MDS Coordinator in the greater Seattle area.
The Clinical Case Manager / MDS Coordinator coordinates the development, completion and transmission of the resident assessment in accordance with the regulatory requirements; reviews and manages reimbursement in compliance with policies and procedures. Responsible to case manage residents covered by either Managed Care insurance programs.

Requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of clinical standards of practice, regulations and reimbursement governing long-term care and Medicare participation.
* Ability to function as an effective team member through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental goals, to develop/maintain good personnel relations and employee morale.
* Ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
* Ability to make independent decisions, to follow instructions, and to accept constructive feedback. * Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.
* Ability to respect residents including those who have impaired cognition.
* Sufficient verbal and written communication skills to perform the tasks required.
* Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.
* Registered Nursing degree
* Demonstrated proficiency in RAI/PPS processes.
* Current RN license in state of employment or ability to acquire.
