Description

Our client who is a manufacturer of precision machined parts in the Birmingham Alabama area is looking for several CNC Programmer/ Machinists for 2nd shift with the ability to Program/ Setup from blueprint all the way to 1st piece inspection.

Must have ability to Program and do Setups from Blueprint on CNC 4 and 5 axis HMC or VMC Mills and Twin Spindle/ Twin Turret multi Axis Mill/ Turn Lathes.
Must have strong G-M code programming knowledge.
Must have strong setup and tooling selection knowledge.
Must have Live Tooling Experience.
Must have strong CNC controls experience. Strong Fanuc a must, Siemens 840D or Heidenhain controls a Huge Plus!
Experience with Feeds and Speeds and Time Studies a plus.
Ability to perform 1st piece inspection and have own tools a must.
Strong Production Machining/ Job Shop environment background a big plus.
Ability to maintain close tolerances +-.0001 to +-.0003 a must.
Must have ability to prove out parts and edit programs.
Aerospace and Automotive Parts Machining experience a Plus.
Must be willing to relocate to the Birmingham, Alabama area. Those not willing to relocate for permanent placement/ direct hire need not apply. This is not a contract position. This is a permanent direct hire position.
Must be willing to work 2nd shift. 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday.

Company offers relocation package reimbursement after 3 months of service or proof of permanent relocation. 90 days of furnished apartment also offered.

4-5 Axis HMC or VMC Milling Experinece.
Twin Spindle/ Twin Turret Experience.
Mill Turn/ Multi Axis Experience.
1st piece inspection and have own tools.
Strong G-code programming and controls. Fanuc a must, Siemens and Heidenhain a plus.
Live tooling on lathes.
Maintain close tolerances +-.0001 to +-.0003.
Willingness to move to the Birmingham, Alabama area permanently for a direct hire opportunity. This is a permanent placement opportunity. Those not willing to relocate need not apply.
