Description

Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center, a McLaren Health Service, is currently accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the role of a full time Manager Pharmacy.

The MCRMC Pharmacy provides drug therapy for the purpose of achieving outcomes that improve a patient's health.

The on site Pharmacy is open 24 hours a day providing medicine doses and complex IV solutions.

Distribution of drugs and drug information to inpatients, outpatients, and other hospital personnel in accordance with current hospital policies and in compliance with Federal and State regulations governing the practice of pharmacy.

Provides assistance in carrying out routine daily department functions with respect to personnel, stock purchasing, active clinical programs, and distribution of drug information.

Pharmacokinetic dosing of antibiotic and antineoplastic drugs.

Requirements To be considered candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D (Doctor of Pharmacy).

Curent Michigan Pharmacist license and Michigan Pharmacist Controlled Substance (CS)license required.

Must Complete at least 30 hours of approved continuing education credits every two years as required by the Michigan Board of Pharmacy for maintenance of active Pharmacist license-required if licensed.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting required.

Prior experience in a supervisory role is required.
