We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to perform basic nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse, while meeting or exceeding Sunrise hospitality and service standards. Requiring an on-call/per diem CNA for all shifts (7-3p; 3-11p or 11-7a).

The CNA will:
  • Assist residents with personal, nutritional and restorative care.
  • Encourage resident independence and optimal level of functioning.
  • Respond to resident or family requests or concerns in a positive manner
Requirements Education & Experience

 

  • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in skilled nuursing facility as a nursing aide preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of experience, education, and other qualifications may be considered.

 

Specific Requirements

 

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Must score 85 on Skills Test.
  • Desire to work with geriatric population essential.

 

General Qualifications

 

  • Professional in attitude, demeanor and dress.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
