Description

Consulting Engineering Firm has an immediate opening for a Structural Bridge Inspector in their Virgnia Beach area office. This is a Team Leader Position, with minimum requirements including 5 years direct bridge inspection experience for either a consulting firm and/or Department of Transportation. In this role, you will inspect existing bridge structure throughout the state of Virginia, with occasional projects occurring in other states.

Successful candidate will hold current EIT or PE license, with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural and/or Engineering Technology. Candidate must have significant experience in bridge safety inspections and experience with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS). Candidate must also be able to qualify as  a Team Leader under NBIS standards.
