We currently have a part-time / PRN Physician opportunity for an Oncologist at the Graterford State Correctional Institution in PA.
Position will be responsible for providing Oncology medical services including diagnosing, treating, and preventing cancerous disease and injury.
Physicians working in correctional medicine typically perform histories and physicals, evaluates and treats inmates at the daily sick call, follow up medical call-outs and emergency visits by inmates, performs minor surgical procedures including, but not limited to, suturing lacerations, I & D biopsy of skin lesions, treatment of burns, wound care and debridement, nail removal, local anesthesia administration.
