My client is a major multi hospital system located in the Southeast serving a 14 county area.  They are the largest medical facility in the area and have developed a reputation for both quality care and community involvement. 

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a candidate to to lead the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement department across the entire organization.  The Director would work with facility quality leaders and medical staff leaders to faciliate the development of a culture of quality patient care and the timely reporting of safety issues.  In addition, the Director will be responsible for working with hospital staff to ensure preparedness for Joint Commision audits and reviews.  The Director will also serve on various clinical and nonclinical committees within the organization when necessary.

We are looking for a candidate to to lead the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement department across the entire organization. The Candidate should have the following:

• Bachelors degree in Nursing, Pharmacy or other clinical area
• Master degree in healthcare or healthcare related field a plus
• R.N., CPHQ preferred
• At least 5 years acute care experience
• At least 5 years Quality Assurance experience with 3 years of management experience
• Experience with JCAHO standards required
