Description
Culver's of Olathe is seeking experienced and entry level management candidates for our current location and additional locations in development.
Culver's is a fast/casual restaurant with a widely varied menu. We are famous for our Butterburgers and Fresh Frozen Custard. Almost every Culver's is a franchise and locally owned and operated.
Our location in Olathe is consistently rated by Culver's Franchising as one of the very best operationally in the country. We are excited to bring enthusiastic candidates onto our team as we prepare to grow.
As a franchise, you can expect to be working alongside the store owners on a regular if not daily basis. We have a solid training process to allow management candidates to become very comfortable with the standards and operation of the business before actually running shifts. As we grow to additional locations, we will need our management team to be increasingly capable and comfortable maintaining our tradition of excellence with less direct guidance of ownership.
Experience is always a plus, but we are very happy to train any candidate who shares our passion for serving our guests. We have an outstanding menu that sells itself when we deliver it in a timely manner, in a sparkling clean environment, and presented with genuine hospitality toward our guests.
Requirements
A successful member of our management team should possess the following attributes:
- Genuinely enjoy working with the public
- Be comfortable motivating and leading a team of 10-20 employees during any given shift
- Capable of being on your feet for a vast majority of every shift
- Able to lead by example in pace of work, grace under pressure, and keeping a cheerful demeanor
- Honest without exception
- Works well with others
- Self Motivated to be the best at what you do
Inititially, management will focus solely on leading shifts and serving our guests. Over time, you will be trained in additional duties that will become part of the routine including:
- Interviewing/ Hiring
- Inventory
- Scheduling
- Payroll
- Repair and Maintenance
- Deposits
- Marketing
Our philosophy is one of our managers being "working managers". This means that 90-95% of your duties will be leading the team on the floor serving our guests. This will never change as administrative/ office duties are limited in proportion to your weekly schedule.
