ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Graphic Artists, Programmers, and Subject Matter Experts in the development of interactive multimedia courseware.
  • Design interactive training materials for a variety of delivery systems, including CD-ROM, Internet, and electronic classrooms.
  • Design interactive training materials that include sound instructional design methodology, appropriate training strategies, and participant activities for small and large groups.
  • Develop evaluation tools for the assessment of training needs and products.
  • Scale design efforts to meet production timelines.
  • Keep abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MA/MS in related field and 1+ year direct ISD experience
  • or BA/BS in related field and 2+ years direct ISD experience
  • or at least 5 years experience in the technical field relating to the curriculum being developed.
  • MS/MA in education, instructional design, or similar field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing training for technology-delivered instruction (CBT, web-based training, electronic performance support, etc.).
  • Experience using established methodologies in all stages of the instructional design process, including needs assessment, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Experience with producing multimedia training packages (with emphasis on Evolution Outstart).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarization with ADL SCORM and ADA Section 508 compliance requirements.
