Store Manager

Palm Beach Tan, Inc., one of the nation’s fastest growing chains of tanning superstores, is seeking highly motivated, energetic individuals who enjoy leading teams in a fun, upscale, retail environment.  We currently have over 100 stores located in various states and we have phenomenal growth plans in the future. 

We are currently looking to expant our Management Team in the Jackson Metro area and will be hiring for the position of Store Manager.  We do not have a specific location for this position but we would place them at one of our 4 Jackson area location (Ridgeland, Flowood, Madison or Brandon).

Store Manager Job Summary:
The Store Manager will direct, coordinate and manage Palm Beach Tan operations within a store to ensure specific and direct alignment with company goals.  The position is accountable for all aspects of store operations, including adherence to PBT quality standards, systems and procedures.  Additionally, you will direct the store with sales-building as a continual focus while being responsible for monitoring and controlling costs, including labor, cost of sales, sales revenue and profitability.   The Store Manager will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, developing and maintaining the highest quality team while working collaboratively with management and support personnel, and ensure timely and effective communications on all projects and initiatives.

• 1 year retail management experience and/or;
• 4 year college degree
• Strong sales background is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English, verbal, read and written.
• Thorough knowledge of retail / customer service environments.
• Some P.C. knowledge
• Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
