Position Description

 

We are seeking a compassionate, high energy sales professional to assess the needs of individuals with disabilities and assist in the selection of appropriate equipment. The equipment that you will sell includes power wheelchairs and the additional technology that improves the function and quality of life for individuals with disabilities. We offer the opportunity to join our team and we will support your training to become a Certified Assistive Technology Professional. Your demonstrated success in sales, preferably in the healthcare arena or your background as a OTA, PTA, LPN, RN with the desire to enter the sales profession is necessary.

Requirements

 

  • Previous Sales experience
  • A BS/BA is preferred or Medical certification in OTA, PTA, LPN or RN.
  • RESNA ATP certification is a super plus!
  • Medical funding experience helpful
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and writing
  • Willing to obtain ATP credentials
  • Patience and good listening skills
  • Empathy for others and the ability to make others feel comfortable
  • Attention to details
  • Able to travel for training and continuing education
  • The ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to work “hands on" with equipment to make minor adjustments.
