The Pricing Specialist is responsible for the submittal of medium complexity price proposals to U.S. Federal Agencies. This includes interfacing with proposal executives on compliance issues, Government officials to ensure an understanding of the requirements, and campaign leads to ensure that we are competitive in the response. A Pricing Specialist applies knowledge of Federal Government pricing practices, coordinates and manages the cost volume and ensures deal compliance with internal and external policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities include:
Analyze the Request for Proposal
Outline Proposal content
Coordinate the gathering of necessary data
Obtain proposals from all teammates
Development and ownership of the price model and price volume
Interaction and coordination with internal customers (i.e. Estimators, Contracts, Compliance, Finance, etc.)
Ability to apply tools, methodology and templates to the proposal
Ensure proposal is properly formatted for presentation to the client
Detailed understanding of FAR primary requirements
Must be a US Citizen
3 years experience with spreadsheet development and presentation
1 year experience with federal marketplace/proposal process
2 years experience with FAR / CAS and internal accounting principles
Preferred Skills:
Contracts Management Experience
Project Control/Finance Experience
Experience with Cost Plus, FFP, T&M, and Labor Hour type contracts
