Search Engine Marketing Specialist

Job Summary: 

Within this role you will evaluate, build, benchmark, and report on analytic efforts and web based marketing campaigns. You will manage paid search program success through successful bidding strategies and effective key word management on pay-per-click search engines.

Duties: 

Manage PPC budgets for all Amsterdam Websites.

Plan and execute PPC campaigns with all major search engines.

Work with vendors on link building strategies. 

Set up and utilize reporting systems to track key metrics, forecast tracking, and results optimization.

Recommend and implement program changes to increase overall search performance efficiency.

Manage paid search programs.

Monitor and react to competitor activity on the web.

Proficiency and Skills Required:

1. The ability to understand and interpret detailed analysis on marketing effort results using key metrics (conversion rate, cost per click, cost per conversion, impressions, click thru rate, etc.).

2.     The ability to monitor, test, and analyze messaging leading to increased click/impression ratios.

1. Capability to organize multiple projects, including working in a team environment with other employee and vendor stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in concentrated SEM tactics, functions and reporting tools.
• Strong analytic skills and experience in web campaign analysis and web analytic systems.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining a search strategy.
• Strong computer skills, including extensive knowledge of MS Excel  and Strong analytics and reporting skills.
