Online services require very careful attention to performance and scalability.  We are looking for experienced software engineers who can help us build the real-time components of our architecture.  These systems will be at the core of our business.  As such, these systems must both be able to evolve quickly with our business as well as scale and meet rigorous operational standards.  We have several positions open for talented engineers who can meet our demanding standards.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• B.S. in Computer Science (In the interest of full disclosure, if you've got regularly accepted submissions to the Linux kernel or the Apache project, we'll waive this...)
• 3-5 years developing software in C/C++ on Unix based platforms
• strong skills in Apache module development in C/C++, particularly Apache 2.0
• good communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate, defend and document design decisions
• interest and aptitude for understanding the business models behind driving company

In addition to these requirements, the ideal candidate would also have the following:

• M.S. or higher in Computer Science
• 5-10 years of industry experience on relevant technologies
• demonstrated experience in building large-scale internet systems
• strong PHP, Perl and MySQL skills
• experience in the online advertising space
