Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Acts as liaison between Manufacturing Director and Vice President of Manufacturing and Operational Managers by participating in Sales Operation Planning Meetings.
2. Develop and foster corporate strategic alliances and long term partnerships with suppliers and customers.
3. Improve Stanley Security Solutions profitability and customer satisfaction by developing supply chain strategies to improve supply chain efficiencies in cost, quality, and total lead time from customer demand to delivery of finished product
4. Leads the Commodity Managers to reduce total inventory and increase inventory turns with suppliers and vendors through initiatives like inventory consignment/3PL.
5. Works with the Planner Group Manager to modify and coordinate the production plan, adjust planning bills regularly, updates mix statistics and other master scheduling related issues.
6. Monitor obsolescence of inventory and make recommendations regarding disposition.
7. Directs the receipts, storage, and delivery of inventory in the plant.
8. Maintain adherence to company policies including health, safety, environmental, and security.
9. Create and maintain operation budget.
10. Act as a liaison between all engineering functions, manufacturing, finishing, and assembly operations to ensure a quality process and product by managing the Product Change Control (PCC) system.
11. Act as a liaison between Customer Service, Marketing and Sales Functions, and Manufacturing to assure customer satisfaction.
12. Analyze MRP system’s integrity.
13. Performs duties and responsibilities as described in the quality system.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager in support of departmental goals.
Experience:
§ Minimum of 10 years professional experience in a manufacturing environment required
§ Demonstrated supervisory and management experience required for at least 7 years
§ Lean Manufacturing (Flow & Pull Systems)
§ Supply Chain Management
§ Global In-sourcing / Outsourcing
§ Productivity / Process Improvement (Six Sigma, SPC, Kaizen, TOC, etc.)
§ Mergers & Acquisition: Including Integrations & Rationalizations
§ Familiar with Start up Operations & Rebuilds
§ Quality Programs
Education / Training:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• A minimum of 7-10 years professional experience in manufacturing or materials management environment required.
• Demonstrated supervisory and management experience required for a least 5 years.
