Leads and conducts subcontract negotiation, competitions and administration of major subcontracts.
Reviews proposal submissions and acts as senior level authority to identify and assist proposal team in reviewing proposal submissions.
Monitors supplier performance for conformance to original proposal.
Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment, and production costs.
Monitors supplier’s performance for conformance to original proposal and maintain continual reviews to ensure that all terms and conditions are met and that the subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
Prepares and disseminates information throughout the company regarding subcontract status, compliance, modification, deviation, negotiation, and termination.
Initiates documentation to authorize and direct work in accordance with contractual specifications.
Prepares special reports and analyses as required. Serves as point of contact for suppliers.
Acts as advisor regarding legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations.
May provide work leadership for lower level employees.
Advises management of contractual rights and obligations and provides interpretation of terms and conditions.
Skills Required:
Strong computer and analytical skills are required. Other important skills include, strong negotiation skills, in-depth understanding of processing CPSR compliant files, audit preparation skills, ability to present training.
Required Experience:
7 to 10 years of procurement and subcontracts administration experience with progressive skills in the areas of negotiations and CPSR file compliance.
