Position Summary
Our Washington area office has openings for experienced House Managers to oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality support services to adults living in our area group homes. Each House Manager will be responsible for one Group Home in the area around Washington and Pittsburgh.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage group home and provide reliable, on-call support to the Residential Managers and Program Manager
- Manage home staff and scheduling, ensuring correct staffing ratios as required by clients' service plans
- Ensure the homes' compliance with licensing and county contract requirements
- Implement and revise program services and behavior plans
- Interact regularly and work cooperatively with families and other agency representatives
- Create and maintain a stable, supportive environment for clients and staff
- Provide oversight for client health, safety, and medication administration
- Manage spending and adherence to program budgets
- Assist with staff recruitment and training, and other human resource functions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED required
- Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities, preferably in a group home environment
- Supervisory experience preferred (at least 1 year)
- Valid PA driver's license and ability to travel regularly between homes and to program office
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and willingness to be on-call for emergency situations
