We have a Regional Maintenance Manager position open in Pleasanton, CA.
The Regional Maintenance Manager provides guidance, leadership, and support resources to Divisions on the implementation and sustained compliance with the Excellence Driven maintenance standards.
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Works closely with the Senior Manager, Fleet Maintenance & SVP, Operations to prioritize the needs of Divisions with respect to Excellence Driven maintenance standards, development of new standards and the strengthening of existing standards.
Assists Divisions in all aspects of the implementation of Excellence Driven maintenance standards to achieve optimum asset utilization while reducing fleet operating costs.
Verifies standards and processes to ensure Excellence Driven standards are sustained.
Inspects, verifies, and evaluates Divisions on their compliance with the identified Excellence Driven standards in regards to hauling maintenance facilities, equipment, and practices.
Provides clear direction, guidance and motivational leadership to those affected in order to bring about sustainable behavioral change.
Provides the Senior Manager, Fleet Maintenance with updates on activities relative to achievement of assigned goals and/or expectations as they relate to the implementation of maintenance standards.
Provides each Division with a checklist to be used as an aid. The checklist encompasses, in detail, the steps required for the successful implementation of the standards.
Assists in identification of surplus equipment throughout the Region and manages the reallocation of surplus equipment.
Facilitates and manages the installation and use of Computerized Fleet Analysis (CFA) at all maintenance facilities.
Responds to changes in priority Divisions and/or topics as required due to business shifts.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION
:
Required
:
Five years of hands on maintenance experience in the waste or transportation industry.
Three years of maintenance management experience.
Mechanical or trade school certificate.
Preferred
:
2 years of multi-site maintenance management experience.
At least 3 of the following certificates: Electronic diagnostics certificate, ASE certificate or master certificate, diesel mechanic certificate, DOT brake inspection certificate, welding certificate.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree.
