Retail Spa Manager
Faces365 is a new and exciting skincare franchise offering facials, full service waxing, advanced services, and proprietary products. Our consumer values are results, value, and convenience which we achieve using a membership model and full retail hours.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to drive spa growth, manage operations, and provide training for our location in The Woodlands, TX. If you are a confident, experienced and knowledgeable leader, then step up to a new and exciting concept with Faces365.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer service
Ensure a high quality experience for every customer.
Ensure consistency of professionalism/ warmth/courtesy as well as service.
Model and coach the skills related to building relationships.
Establish, maintain, and coach effective customer service practices.
Resolve complaints.
Sales
Meet or exceed sales goals.
Establish and monitor sales goals for individual staff members.
Promote and reward customer referrals.
Provide initial training and ongoing coaching to support sales goals.
Personnel
Recruit, screen, interview and hire qualified, quality employees.
Ensure adequate staffing.
Train and coach employees. Hold regular staff meetings.
Maintain a nurturing, positive, and fun work environment.
Motivate employees through incentives and recognition.
Establish and maintain teamwork focused on caring, problem solving, cooperation, and accommodation.
Maintain a staff retention program.
Mediate employee conflict.
Establish and maintain staff evaluations and action plans.
Discipline and dismiss employees when needed.
Manage employee programs and issues such as unemployment, worker’s comp, sick leave, time off, mandatory employment posters, etc.
Maintain employee files with all required documentation.
Keep the employee handbook up to date.
Model an exceptional level of professionalism at all times.
Facilities and Equipment
Ensure that the environment is safe and hygienic, and that all health and safety policies are followed.
Ensure that the spa is clean, well maintained, and stocked with supplies.
Ensure that equipment is operational and well maintained.
Report, make, or oversee necessary repairs.
Manage retail and signage displays.
Inventory
Develop and maintain inventory control and accounting procedures.
Order and stock supplies and retail products.
Maintain vendor relationships.
Cash management and record keeping
Maintain records for spa inspections.
Train and monitor cash management procedures.
Reconcile cash with deposits.
Make deposits daily.
Profitability
Manage capacity and scheduling of staff/clients to maximize profitability.
Manage for sales closing and member retention.
Train, monitor, and increase product/advanced service sales.
Monitor spending on supplies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Professional poise and polish
Positive attitude, self confidence
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in training, coaching and conflict resolution
Exceptional customer service skills
Computer competency including Word, Excel
Strong ability to multi-task
Must be numerate
Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment
Knowledge of skincare services and products
Experience in retail or spa management
Proven sales record
Some college coursework
Licensed esthetician preferred, but not required
Desire to grow with your spa
Can work flexible days and hours
Successfully pass a background check.
