Pharmacy Technician

BioScrip Pharmacy, a nationwide network of community-based specialty pharmacies, has an opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician at our Washington DC location. We serve and counsel patients to manage chronic diseases such as HIV/AIDS, organ transplant and others. This is a great alternative to a typical retail environment, w/ more favorable hours and a clinical focus. Store hours: M-F: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. We are looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented individual to assist the pharmacists with the processing, billing, dispensing, ordering and receiving of medications.

Requirements

HS Diploma required
Minimum two years retail Pharmacy Tech experience
Excellent computer skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent required
Pharmacy technician certification is strongly desired
Fluency in Spanish a plus
