We are currently seeking a skilled Part Time Bookeeper who has experience working with Microsoft Dynamics.

Job Responsibilities:
- Process & post cash receipts
- Record customer payments as deposits in accounting system – both against customer A/R and as a deposit to our bank account.
- Run customer checks through the bank deposit scanner.
- Deposit physical checks received to bank’s location.
- Ensure total amount posted agrees to amount recorded as received.
- Assist in mailing / sending out renewal or new sales invoices to customers.
- Process & post all Accounts Payable
- Receive bills from vendors, and enter as open A/P in accounting system.
- Run open A/P report for the Staff Accountant and COO to review
- Print A/P checks as needed.
- Receive in all expense reports and verifying charges are in compliance to corporate reimbursement policy.
- Reconcile company credit card charges to the company’s credit card statement monthly.
- Review credit card statements for valid charges.
- Post all expense reports and credit card statements to accounting system when reconciled.
- E-mail copies of accounting mail received in the office to remote employees or to the appropriate contact / person at CLI. Items consist of tax documents, bank statements, health insurance bills, etc.
- Assist in monthly bank reconciliations – by investigating discrepancies between ledger and bank.
- CII bookkeeping – an independent company, but affiliated with CLI. Minor bookkeeping duties include invoicing customers, posting cash received, reconciling bank statements, and paying vendors.
- Assist in filing- PO copies are received via fax or mail and must be scanned so the document can be saved to a network drive. The hard copy will be filed to the customer folder.

Required Computer Skills:
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with Quickbooks is preferred, but not required
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Ability to learn new programs effectively
Required Core competencies:
- Accurate data entry
- Bookkeeping and a basic understanding of accounting concepts, including payables cutoff and accruals
- Ability to multi-task and switch focus, as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Education:
No minimum Educational level, but an associate degree in Accounting or bookeeping classes is a plus.
