Contract Recruiter

Belcan TechServices is currently recruiting for a Petersburg, VA client who has an immediate need for a Contract Recruiter.

Qualified candidate will support recruitment process via resume screening, telephone interviews, offer presentations, and internet sourcing.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the recruitment of high quality talent in multiple functional areas. 

Conduct recruitment strategy discussions with hiring Managers and HR Generalists.

Offer creative and innovative sourcing solutions.

Proactively source against anticipated needs.

Actively source against defined needs.

Maintain focus on diversity recruitment at all times.

Reach out to "passive" candidates through a variety of means such as professional associations, competing organizations, job fairs, networking, conferences, etc.

Utilize technology (e.g. Taleo) to manage recruitment activity. 

Represent company to external candidates.

Deliver and negotiate offers of employment.

B.A. Or B.S degree in relevant field (i.e. HR, Psychology, Social Science, Communications, Marketing, etc.) 

3-5 years recruiting experience preferably in the Aerospace industry.

Excellent sales and presentation skills along with good communication skills.

Demonstrated recruitment and sourcing innovation.

Flexible and able to adapt quickly to change.

Strong customer focus.

Tremendous initiative and energy level.
