FIELD SUPERVISOR/COLLECTIONS

Responsibilities:  To provide support to the Field Operations Manager, including supervision of the cleaning, maintenance and repair of wastewater collection lines and appurtenances supporting the collection system and the operation of light to heavy equipment and vehicles. Supervisory responsibilities for division staff include hiring, training and performance evaluation, as well as participation in field work along with supervised crews.  Field Supervisor will monitor Collection activities and operations, prepare reports, ensure safety compliance and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:   Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by some training in wastewater utility field operations. At least three years of increasingly responsible utility field operations experience.  Must have a valid, appropriate driver’s license, with the ability to obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license within the first six months of hire.  Must possess or have the ability to obtain Class II and Class IV Collections certification (or equivalent) within 24/42 months of date of hire to maintain employment. The successful candidate must pass the criminal background check, physical and drug screen.
