Description

The Program Director of the In-Home FBMHS Program directs a program designed to assist families who are at-risk of out-of-home placement for their mentally ill children/youth to stabilize the at-risk situation through the provision of Therapeutic and Case Management services. These services include but are not limited to conducting family therapy, coordinating the delivery of services, and linking families to generic services. The provision of these services takes place in the home, school or community of the family. 

  1. CLINICAL OVERSIGHT (30%): Supervise clinical work of subordinate staff including reviewing all clinical documentation for quality, provide weekly clinical supervision (team, individual and group) to ensure the effective provision of the Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy Model, perform as a team member when needed, regularly attend required clinical and supervisory trainings, direct and supervise student interns, develop and maintain an effective in-service training program.

ADMINISTRATIVE OVERSIGHT ( 30%): Responsible for recommending the hiring, termination, and promotion of subordinate staff, evaluate subordinate staff, monitor the completion of all required clinical documentation, chair regular administrative staff meetings, ensure program compliance with OMHSAS Family Based regulations, MCO credentialing standards, agency policy and procedures and COA regulations.

INTERNAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (30%): Assist in the preparation of budget proposals and ensure that expenditures remain within approved budget guidelines, ensure that program resources are adequately utilized, process program requests for payments/employee expense reports, approve and process requests for Family Support Fund use, attend agency program management meetings, in-service training and required program trainings, screen referrals to ensure that all families served meet program criteria, provide required reports to the administrative office as requested.

  7. EXTERNAL PROGRAM MANAGEMENT (10 %): Provide reports as required to County MH/MR Program and/or MCO, present program to community and other interested parties, maintain a working relationship with referral and funding sources, attend required provider meetings.

        JOB REQUIREMENTS

         

         

          

        Education:

        Masters Degree in counseling, social work or other human service related field. 

        Certifications or Licenses Required:

        Valid driver’s license, auto insurance coverage to meet Agency Standards, valid childline, FBI and criminal background checks dated within six months of date of hire.

         

        Experience:

        Three years direct case experience with child or adolescent service programs. The candidate will have two years of supervision experience in any CASSP program.
