Description Are you currently a supervisor or manager in a retail environment? Do you like working with customers but are tired of the hours? Then retail banking might be a new career opportunity for you? We are seeking candidates for a Head Teller position. Qualified candidates would have 2-3 years of teller experience and supervisory experience.

Position currently available in: PLUMSTEADVILLE

Duties would include the following:

  • Meet head teller performance and customer service standards as well as office profitability goals
  • Ability to supervise a teller line
  • Ability to motivate and coach tellers during awareness campaigns
  • Ability to process teller corrections and large return items, Fed shipments and teller duties
  • Ability to develop Senior Teller for advancement to Head Teller
  • Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of Conduct
  • Perform additional duties as required
Requirements Previous Senior Teller experience and AIB Principles of Banking Credit preferred Ability to work accurately and deal with job pressure and deadlinesAbility to learn head teller responsibilities such as settling vault, supervising teller line, coaching teller awareness, and correcting differences Knowledge of end work, commercial loan processing, ATM, and other settlementsAccountability for following check cashing procedures and other security measuresStrong knowledge of Univest products and servicesNeat, professional appearance, good communication skills
