COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client has been providing water and wastewater treatment solutions to industries and municipalities for more than 95 years. They provide customers with engineering and design of technological solutions for water and wastewater treatment systems, from initial studies to turnkey installations, training and start-up.

They identify the problem, determine strategic options, develop creative approaches using their technological expertise, and complete the project through design engineering, installation and start-up.

They do equipment procurement, construction management, firm-price-design-build, or design-build-own-operate contracts. They also offer sustainable management of water resources, efficient use of process water, and effective wastewater and sludge management.

 

They are currently seeking a Vice President of Sales & Business Development to oversee and manage the sales function and the individual Sales Mangers that represent the companies design/build capabilities and technologies.  This position will be based in the Moon Township, Pennsylvania office.

Requirements

*Must have water/wastewater treatment experience. Also, must have sales and business development experience.*

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to): 

-Responsibility for overall sales plans and objectives (development and execution)

-Work with the Sales Managers to develop goals and objectives for each market

-Work with the Sales Managers to develop market penetration initiatives

-Work with the applicable teams to develop proposals/tenders for all projects,

-Work with the Product Management teams to integrate new technology developed by the company, locally or internationally

-Provide support as needed to the R&D, Application Engineering and Product Management groups

-General oversight of the review and proposal process for projects

 

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor of Science Degree is required for this position, preferably in an engineering discipline.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of progressive experience with wastewater treatment (including design/build) business development.  They must also possess a high degree of technical competence and communications skills both verbal and written.

 

COMPENSATION:

They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package (125K-175K…150K is ideal) along with a dynamic work environment.  We offer challenging projects and training to ensure your success.  Company paid relocation is available as applicable for this position.
