• Responsible to Rehabilitative Services Department for carrying out physical therapy patient treatment plan and contributing to overall efficient departmental function. 

• Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service. 
• Administers physical therapy programs or portions thereof, as planned and directed by the physical therapist. 
• Documents patient progress. 
• Monitors departmental equipment and supplies. 
• Assists in other operational needs of the department as and when needed. 
• Assumes hydrotherapy duties in absence of regular personnel. 
• Cleans equipment and generally maintains neat and orderly appearance throughout the department. 
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

   

• Associate degree in physical therapy required. 

• After orientation, up to one month’s experience on this job is required to perform essential functions.  
• Current Ohio license as a physical therapist assistant by the Ohio OT, PT, AT Board.
• Certification in CPR by the American Heart Association or the Red Cross required. 
• Broad knowledge in professional area and in physical therapy.
• Ability to define complicated physical or technical relationships.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legislative and JCAHO standards related to Rehabilitative Services.
