Sales Representative Trainee

  

A Unique Program Designed to Ensure Success in a Sales Career

  

  

Have you ever wondered if you might be a good candidate for a career in sales, or have you had people tell you that you would be good in sales? If so, you may be on the right track. Because good sales people are hard to find, they often have far superior career opportunities and income potential compared to their peers.

 

In collaboration with a leading business development organization, GradStaff has created an outstanding sales training program that will ultimately lead to placement in a business-to-business sales position. The training program lasts 4-6 months and includes these components:

 

  1. Phase 1 – Placement with our training partner where you will provide inbound or outbound telephone support for various programs including lead generation, inquiry qualification, research, surveys, database profile/updates, etc.  Working closely with mentors, you will be given product knowledge, trained on how to deliver a compelling message, and coached on the best techniques to achieve success. Telephone-based customer contact work is a great way to begin a sales career since it is a low risk way to learn the required skills.
  2. Phase 2 – Placement on projects that require higher level telephone support including appointment setting, lead qualification, and gaining commitments for product/service trials.
  3. Phase 3 – Hire by our partner in a business-to-business sales position, or placed by GradStaff in a business-to-business sales position with a top-notch company. Either way, Sales Trainees will have the opportunity consider outstanding career opportunities at the end of the training program.

Requirements:  4 year college degree. Prior experience in retail sales, fundraising, hospitality, or in telephone customer contact is helpful, but not mandatory.

 

Compensation:  Pay is hourly during the training program. After final placement, all positions pay a base salary and are eligible for commissions/incentives.
