Specimen Processor

Key areas of responsibility for supervising all aspects of the urinalysis procedures through daily interaction with clinic staff and patients including:

• Compiling a list of the patient’s medication by consulting his or her medical chart.
• Collecting demographic information from the patient such as age, weight, height, gender, and last time medication was administered.
• Processing sample from patient, clearly labeling the sample and requiring the patient to sign the label.
• Preparing shipping documentation and properly packing sample for UPS pick up.
• Taking inventory of sampling supplies and ordering when necessary.
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy in all documentation.

• Good organizational skills and attention to detail, legible penmanship
• A minimum of 6 months experience/education within medical field required 
• Can communicate effectively with both clinic staff and patients
• Works well under minimal supervision
