Description
Huntington Insurance is looking for a Communications Specialist who will manage the development and execution of internal and/or external communications by specializing in various communication mediums that may be specific to the line of business supported.
This is a Full Time Exempt position that can be located in either Maumee, Ohio or Westerville, Ohio.
This position will coach, schedule, make recommendations regarding performance management, hiring, terminations, and/or salary adjustments.
Serves as project manager to produce or facilitate the development of multiple communication vehicles including new releases, Q & A's, intranet site and other Huntington communications.
Supports designated line of business, regional, and/or corporate communications efforts by making recommendations regarding content and best media for delivery of information.
Ensures that these communications reflect and build upon Huntington's vision and values by providing associates and/or external customers with needed information.
Manages strategic communications effort, directing internal partners and external communications vendors in the development of communications.
Manages ongoing effectiveness measures of recommended program and associated program updates as required.
Requirements
5 - 7 years communications and/or marketing experience required.
Management experience required.
Bachelor's degree required.
