We are currently seeking several Dietitians to work at Coalinga State Hospital!

Summary: Dietitans plan diets for patients and educate people about eating healthy foods.


Work activities: Talk to doctors or health care workers about patients. Find out the patients' nutrtiond needs and dietary limits, evaluate how patients respond to their diets. Check that meals are providing the correct nutrients. Also check the flavor and the appearance of the food. Prepare budgets and purchase food, equipment, and supplies. Prepare records and reports. make sure saftey and cleanliness rules are being followed.

General activities: Get information to do the job. Performed administrative activities. Make decisions and solve problems. Analize data information. Organize, plan, prioritize. Judge the qualities of food and the health of the patients. Develop objectives and strageties. Identify events, such as how a patient has changed while on a diet. Provide advice and consultation to others.

Requirements Must be a Registered Dietitian.

Must have 1 year experience.

Candidate must be available on an on call basis.
