Sales Rep West Texas

Our client is a US owned leader in its field, with locations in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. This is a growing, employee oriented organization that offers internal mobility and strong long term career growth potential. You will be responsible for sales in Western Texas and the surrounding area with a focus on the Midland and Lubbock area. MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL OVERNIGHT up to 40%.

A minimum of 1 year successful outside sales experience is required. Prefer experience selling products or components that are designed or specified into other products or systems. We are seeking an energetic, technically oriented, successful sales rep. with experience selling to any/all of these types of customers: engineers, contractors, distributors. This product has a sales cycle that requires a consultative, relationship oriented sales approach.

We are looking for someone who has strong oral and written communication skills. You must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Our client offers strong technical support and resources. Target clients are in the industrial, Oil & Gas, commercial, municipal, or C&E field. Experience with HVAC, power, lighting or other “specified" building products is desired. You will be building and maintaining long term relationships. Experience with the residential or “big box" market is NOT a fit for my client’s requirements.

A bachelor’s degree is REQUIRED and a technical degree is prefered.  Compensation includes salary plus a bonus and commission program. A laptop and company car will be provided; you will work out of a home office.
