Operations Manager- RN

Located in Chicago’s west suburbs, our medical cost and quality management company serving Illinois’ Medicaid population is seeking a senior manager to provide operations leadership and to contribute strategically to the company’s long-term success. The position is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient administration and compliance obligations. This candidate will serve as a principal point of contact and operations expert for the client and for Medicaid healthcare inpatient care providers.

The successful candidate must have an active unrestricted Illinois registered professional nurse license and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other allied health field. The candidate must have at least 5 years utilization review, case management, or clinical quality improvement experience, experience overseeing an inbound call center. The candidate must have at least 3 years management experience with at least 1 year at a middle or senior management level requiring supervision of entry-level management and fiscal management accountability. Superior verbal and written communication and analytic capability are essential. Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, or the commercial payer market is preferred. Demonstrated effectiveness both leading and participating in experience in the development and implementation of business process and/or policy and procedure design required.  Knowledge of JCAHO, URAC or NCQA accreditation standards is beneficial.
